A free RSVP link that guests can answer without an account
Build the invitation, copy the link, send it wherever your guests are. They open it in a browser, type their name and mobile number, choose yes, maybe or no and how many are coming. You see the count and the names as they land. No one creates an account — not to reply, not to change their reply.
What a guest actually does
The whole reply is one screen. Here is what a guest who opens the link on their phone sees and does, in order.
1. Opens the linkThe invitation itself: title, date, place, a note from the host. No login wall.
2. Types a name and mobile numberThe number keeps the reply on the right guest, so a second reply updates the first instead of adding a duplicate. It is visible only to the host.
3. AnswersYes, maybe or can’t make it, plus how many adults and kids are coming along.
4. Claims a dish, if there is a listOptional. Each item shows how many are still needed.
5. DoneThey see who else has replied. Changing their mind later is the same link again.
Why “no account” changes the reply rate
Every sign-up step loses the least tech-confident guests, who are often the ones you most want to come. A reply that is one tap and a name gets answered from the school pickup line.
What the host gets
A headcount split by adults and kids, updated as replies arrive.
A list of who said what, and who has not replied (for guests you added by name).
One reminder to the silent — never to the people who already answered.
