The reason RSVPs fail is friction: every account a guest has to create is a guest who doesn’t answer. Mela’s reply page asks for a name and how many are coming. That’s it. You get a live count of adults, kids and plus-ones, and a list of who said yes, maybe, and no.
Adults and children are counted separately. A plus-one is a number, not a guess. “Maybe” stays a maybe until it resolves, so you can nudge it.
Guests who haven’t replied get one reminder a few days before, sent for you by email or in the app; one tap sends another. An update about the date, time or place goes to everyone who said yes or maybe. No blast to the whole list.
